Success Story: The Green Guide

Company Overview:

Green Guide is the nation’s leading ecology conservation and environment protection champion. Its vision is to create a healthier world occupied by healthier people by checking meaningless consumerism. It goes about its goal by educating people on greener and sustainable alternatives to a wide range of conventional products and services. It is a non-profit organization and is presided by a board consisting of eminent professionals and experts and most importantly public-spirited people with a burning desire to save mother earth. Green Guide goes about its task by educating people on value-based living and the importance of conserving ecology and protecting the environment. It provides healthier alternatives through its regular updates on green alternatives to conventional products and services.

Before EchoMail

Green Guide realized the colossal communication challenge before it; Effective communication was central to its business, communication cutting across socio- economic strata and geographic boundaries. It was not in the business of selling products and services but values, beliefs and lifestyles; it was not targeting a defined or niche group but a universal audience whom it had to reach effectively. It also realized the need to store its large and ever-increasing data scientifically and make the optimum use of it.

The EchoMail Deployment

Green Guide realized the need to engage an E-Mail management agency with expertise and proven track record to manage its E-Mail communication and chose EchoMail. EchoMail analyzed the needs of the client and deployed DM Direct Marketing (DM) and Data Warehousing (DW) tools. The idea of deploying DW was to organize the client’s existing and ever increasing database in a manner that would maximize availability, categorize across multiple parameters, make it easy to manage, retrieve and deploy. Once the data was organized DM was deployed to send some highly customized and targeted mail to its large base of customers and potential customers.

After EchoMail

EchoMail helped Green Guide to spread awareness on eco-conservation and environment protection through its campaigns; it was able to educate its audience on value-based living and the need to use sustainable resources to help conserve planet earth; it highlighted the dangers and shortsightedness of exploiting natural resources mindlessly. It emphasized to its audience that they had a moral responsibility to future generations to leave the world a better place than what it was when they came into it. Once it had educated consumers on the importance of living close to nature it provided them with usable and well-researched information on a wide range of alternatives for conventional products and services through regular updates.
