Before EchoMail
The industry continues to go through a time of transition with out of balance supply-demand ratios, shrinking margins for manufacturers and plummeting rental rates. Customers have become used to quick results and individualized attention, thanks in part to the Internet revolution. The renewed emphasis on Internet-based direct marketing is in keeping with the same cost-cutting spirit.
Ryder has been using more traditional channels to acquire customers, like print mail. Now, changing with the times was not easy as it looked.
