EchoMail offers consulting on Legal and Privacy Guidelines including COPPA, HIPPA

Privacy is a chief consideration at EchoMail. Our policy prohibits selling, borrowing, or otherwise disbursing our clients' data in any form. We do not utilize client data for any purpose other than for the client's needs and product implementation. We do not send spam E-Mail, and do not rent E-Mail lists for marketing campaigns. EchoMail will only provide marketing services for those clients who have their own E-Mail address data. In addition, EchoMail will help to build and support tools intended to gather information for our clients and augment their contact database.

In order to protect the privacy of data, industry standard methods are used to protect the network and the transmission of data. The data always remain the property of the client and upon completion of the work; data are destroyed or returned to the client.

EchoMail's Market and Technology Research Team investigates and evaluates current trends in technology, marketing, privacy, and law, communicating this information throughout the company and to its clients. EchoMail constantly monitors both ISP policies and government legislation to ensure compliance with criteria for the bulk delivery of E-Mail. Since EchoMail does not send unsolicited commercial E-Mail (UCE/Spam), there are no issues associated with such policies. Spam complaints are handled on an individual basis both internal to EchoMail and with EchoMail's clients. The owners of mailing lists are EchoMail's clients, and it is up to those clients to see that their lists conform to all applicable codes and guidelines.

EchoMail utilizes a double opt-in approach to subscription services and recommends that to all of our clients. EchoMail is flexible in meeting client specific criteria when the client has pre-established permission practices.

In 2002, EchoMail published E-Mail Communications Policy and Guidelines, which addresses policies and procedures and serves as a road map for developing a comprehensive E-Mail Communications Policy and Guidelines. The information contained provides guidelines and best practices for E-Mail communication. It describes responsibilities and outlines of policies developed to help achieve professional and corporate growth.
