E-mail relationship-management vendor EchoMail is ready to tackle the small and midsize business market with its new streamlined offering, EchoMail Direct. EchoMail Direct automates the business process of launching a direct-marketing e-mail campaign. EchoMail has more than seven years of experience helping companies manage incoming and outgoing e-mail. Its comprehensive solutions have garnered the company an impressive list of Fortune 500 clients.
The beauty of EchoMail Direct is its simplicity. In fewer than 15 steps, EchoMail Direct users can launch an e-mail marketing campaign. EchoMail Direct walks the users step-by-step through the entire process, from choosing the campaign type (sales offer, newsletter, greeting card, etc.) and e-mail design template to selecting the mailing list. At every step, users can view their selections as well as navigate back and forth. EchoMail Direct also manages address lists and provides real-time reporting. These two features are easily accessible from every page.
EchoMail Direct is well designed and easy to use, thanks in part to the large in-house design team. The team includes 2D and 3D animators who create original animations for newsletters, e-mail campaigns and e-cards. The design team works with clients to develop design templates for marketing campaigns. Benefits to the client include an automated design process as well as greater control over the look and feel of each campaign. For example, a restaurant chain's home office can work with EchoMail to develop templates with the corporate branding and messaging. Then, the local restaurant franchise can customize these templates and create e-mail campaigns targeted to its local audience.
EchoMail is beta-testing EchoMail Direct through the middle of August, and plans to release it in the fall of 2001.
