Kennedy (D-MA) as the recipients of The EchoMail 2002 Pioneer Award for Constituent Care, Technology Integration, and
E-Government
.

Senators Frist and Fitzgerald are the recipients of The EchoMail 2002 Pioneer Award for Constituent Care for their efforts in deploying advanced technology and setting industry standards for listening and responding to their constituents via E-Mail.

Senator Stabenow is the recipient of The EchoMail 2002 Pioneer Award for Technology Integration for her leadership in setting industry standards on the efficiency and integration of the EchoMail system with the internal Correspondence Management System (CMS).

Senator Kennedy is the recipient of The EchoMail 2002 Pioneer Award for E-Government. He has supported the value of EchoMail from its inception within the Senate and is setting industry standards on the effectiveness and speed of public interactions with the government through his state-of-the-art web site.

Senate offices receive an average of 20,000 E-Mails per month. Through the use of EchoMail's pre-filtering technology, Senate offices eliminate spam, junk, and duplicate E-Mails, so they can focus on the truly valuable constituent E-Mails. EchoMail® Customer Care™ with Business Intelligence™ provides advanced workflow and sorting capabilities which allows for constituent E-Mail responses within 48 hours.

The EchoMail technology saves the Senate offices tens of thousands of dollars per month. By fostering the usage of EchoMail, Senators Frist, Fitzgerald, and Stabenow have led the U.S. Senate in accelerating and streamlining service delivery to citizens, reducing paperwork burdens on Senate staff, improving management and responsiveness, and applying commercial best practices to improve operating efficiency.

"The findings from a recent study among the 100 Senate offices on E-Mail management led our Board of Directors to recognize the achievements of four Senate leaders who have set the industry standard on promoting excellent constituent care," said V.A. Shiva, CEO and President of EchoMail. "Senators who deploy advanced technology to listen and to respond to their constituents not only serve those who put them in office, but also have a competitive advantage by enabling them to have access to real-time reports on constituent behavior via E-Mail, rather than ignore or delete the messages."
