EchoMail the leading provider of E-Mail Solutions announced the release of their latest and more sophisticated version of their well known Direct Marketing software and Customer Care software.

Cambridge, MA – August 2005 - EchoMail Chairman V.A Shiva released the latest versions of their Customer Care (CC Version 7.3.1) and Direct Marketing (DM Version 6.5.4 and DM Version 6.6)) Software. Speaking to the Press soon after, he remarked "We at EchoMail have always been responsive to the changing needs of this dynamic medium. The latest enhancements to our CC and DM products is a result of close co-ordination of our marketing, project management and servicing teams with our R & D team. The enhancements reflect both improvement to the product in terms of customer requests, as well as constant in-house research aimed at improving product performance and delivery." He explained the following features as the highlights of the new products.

   New Features

  • Display Customer information from database (if available) while viewing the Customer’s
        e-mail in Inbox. This is an optional feature.

  • Reporting available on Composed mails


  • Administrative setting introduced to specify the user signature – that of Level 1 CSR
        or the last Level CSR who handled the e-mail – that gets appended to e-mail response



  • Administrative setting introduced to specify to whom – Level 1 CSR or the last Level
        CSR who handled the e-mail – reply e-mails from a customer get assigned to.

       New Features

  • Look-and-Feel for User Interface enhanced for clarity.



  • Option provided to scrape Content from multiple web pages (up to 20) at a scheduled
        time. The scraped Content can be set to be automatically updated
        daily/weekly/bi-weekly/monthly.



  • Feature added to create Mailing Lists from list files placed on a remote FTP location.
        Option available to merge multiple files into one Mailing List.



  • Redesigned bifurcation of application modules from User Interface.



  • Ability added to save original script for uploaded Content on the desktop.



  • Archival of Content and Mailing List files older than 14 days provided.



  • Ability to preview Mailing List during Campaign definition.



  • Approval Process for Campaign send-out enhanced. Managers can look at Campaigns
        in approval queue, and approve them.



  • Open-Track reporting enhanced to recognize recipients clicking on links, in addition to
        the original method of tracking opening of e-mail.



  • Campaign Wizard (Campaigns New) now includes the following features that were
        earlier available only in Custom Campaigns:
        a. Send Campaign to a specified range in Mailing List
        b. Scheduling Campaigns



  • Alert e-mails can be sent under the following circumstances
            a. Successful completion of Campaigns – alert e-mail will be sent to user/Managers.
            b. Campaigns not completing, resulting in an error – alert e-mail will be sent to
                configured e-mail addresses (e.g. Tech Support)
            c. Successful completion of Mailing List creation – alert e-mail will be sent
                to user/Managers.
            d. Mailing Lists not created, resulting in an error – alert e-mail will be sent
                to configured e-mail addresses (e.g. Tech Support)
            e. Successful creation of Content scraped from web sites – alert e-mail will be sent
                to user/Managers.
            f. Error in scraping Content from web-sites – alert e-mail will be sent to
                configured e-mail addresses (e.g. Tech Support)




  •   EchoMail DM 6.6 Release Notes

       Version 6.6

       New Features

  • User Interface further enhanced for improved usability.



  • Interface provided for users to create and update Content used in Auto-Respond
        feature. (The Auto-Respond feature sends out automated responses from EchoMail to
        customer information submitted via SMTP or FTP).



  • Ability added to use multiple bounce-back addresses for a single Campaign.
