EchoMail Deploys Record Number of Outbound Campaigns with Advanced Response Management
Clients Increase Revenue and Lower Communications Costs

CAMBRIDGE, MA - August 10, 2001 - EchoMail, the established provider of E-Mail Relationship Management solutions, today announced that more than 5,000 rich media E-Mail campaigns were professionally designed and deployed during its second quarter of 2001.

EchoMail clients recognize that customer relationship management consists of two main components: inbound and outbound communications. Instead of simply blasting out campaigns, EchoMail's technology provides state-of-the-art software for managing responses coming back from the E-Mail campaigns to help clients increase revenue and lower communications costs.

"Our team of designers are clearly industry leaders in launching E-Mail campaigns; however, without our technology for managing the inbound responses, users can easily hurt their customer relationships developed by these same strategic campaigns," said V.A. Shiva, Chief Executive Officer of EchoMail. "We have spent over seven years developing our products to help companies manage both their outgoing and incoming E-Mail."

According to a recent Jupiter analyst study, 70 percent of customers will terminate relations with a company, both offline and online, due to a poor online experience. For example, if a customer receives an E-Mail from a direct marketing campaign and they respond but don't receive a reply - the result is a negative customer experience.

"EchoMail technology enables our customers to respond to inbound correspondence in less than two (2) hours, with a 95 percent accuracy rate." said Steve Cimaszewski, Vice President of Production and Hosting.

The January 2000 E-Mail Marketing Dialogue Forrester Research report, rated EchoMail as a leading company with its inbound and outbound capabilities over other vendors, earning a robust rating in data management, inbound customer service and personalization.

"Combining art and technology enables us to develop a simultaneous dialogue, after our customers receive a first-rate E-Mail campaign, we don't stop there, our technology holistically handles the response," said Chief Creative Officer, Zoe Helene who leads EchoMail's Creative Team. "Most companies blast out E-Mails, but in reality it's about being personal and maintaining a dialogue with your customers. We strategically design our client's campaigns in multimedia-rich applications to heighten their customers' experience and build brand loyalty."

EchoMail's Fortune 1000, blue-chip, and major government agency clients are deployed through a Software, ASP, or Agency environment.

A recent Summit Strategies report states "EchoMail has built a solid ASP foundation based on innovative technology and quality customer service. The company can measure its success not only by its list of high-profile customers, but also by its profitability."
