EchoMail CEO, V.A. Shiva, Offers Thoughts and Prayers

During This Time of National Mourning

I want to send all of you our love, thoughts and prayers in this moment of national mourning for our Country and to those who have suffered from this attack. For us at EchoMail, who service our long and dear customers in New York City and in Washington, DC, including the United States Senate, this attack also hits home -- especially given that a number of the flights which attacked the Pentagon and World Trade Centers left out of Boston Logan Airport.

We also send our prayers to Michael Dorfman who is in DC, working for EchoMail on site at the US Senate, which had to be evacuated earlier this morning.

This event will be in our hearts and minds for sometime, and it will be hard for each of us to focus on our work and day to day operations. This attack was meant to devastate not only our symbol of national defense but our way of life, by attacking our and the world's center for business, the World Trade Center. I believe that, while we mourn, it is also important that we not allow these acts to affect us any more than they already have. Our country's health, as well as our own, depends on our ability to get back to our operations and businesses as quickly as possible -- and this will be easier said than done.

We cannot enable the persons responsible to further damage us either financially or operationally because this only furthers their gains from these atrocities. To this end, we are continuing to monitor all hosted servers and facilities from our EchoMail locations. We have also received news from our hosting providers that physical security in all sites has also been enhanced.

We are here for you. Feel free to contact myself or anyone at EchoMail, if you need any assistance.

Sincerely,

Shiva
