CAMBRIDGE, MA - May 2, 2001 -
V.A. Shiva, President and CEO of EchoMail, Inc., the established provider of E-Mail Relationship Management solutions,
today presented a high-level overview of web marketing and relationship management through its patented technological
back end - the EchoMail Digital Refinery - to Becton, Dickinson and Company.
The presentation focused on E-Mail as a necessary tool for marketing and communications professionals. Shiva
discussed the power of E-Mail and how to leverage E-Mail to improve customer relationship management.
"The EchoMail® Relationship Management Operating System supports small- and large-scale management of E-Mail," said V.A.
Shiva, President and CEO of EchoMail, Inc. "A recent industry analyst study indicated that 70 percent of customers who have
a bad experience online sever their relationship offline, emphasizing the need to recognize customer E-Mail communications as
an integral part of the customer management process."
Becton, Dickinson and Company had indicated interest in the development of E-Mail for use in customer relationship
management, but did not have the time to fly to Boston. With EchoMail's flexibility in supporting client initiatives, the
EchoMail CEO went to New Jersey to give his lecture.
