CAMBRIDGE, MA - August 24, 1999 - To support Major Fortune 500 Business in responding to the hundreds of thousands of e-mail messages received each day, General Interactive, Inc., ("GII") "The E-Mail Company", has been awarded a 3 major contracts for e-mail management. Under the terms of the Agreement, the American Express, Home Portfolio and Citibank will use GII's EchoMail technology to improve online customer response and service.
