The World Music site was given as a grant by EchoMail, Inc. to recognize and promote awareness of multi-cultural performances held in Boston. The site was a finalist in the 1998 MIMC ceremony. The Massachusetts Interactive Media Council continually recognizes EchoMail, Inc.'s outstanding achievements in the creation of interactive media. In 1997, EchoMail, Inc. carried home the best "E-Mail/ Fax Application" award for the EchoMail suite of products, (1997).
